Endgame has smashed records and expectations of what is possible both in box office sales and in visual effects. It took over a decade and 22 films to get to that final insane battle and it was worth the wait. Now I am not a patient man by any means but boy oh boy that was so worth it.
With each passing year, visual effects become ever more critical to movies in general not just high dollar big names like Endgame or Infinity War. It used to be that visual effect teams were viewed as second class in film production but not anymore. They are beyond critical for the success of any film, just like animators. It is crazy if you think about some of the insane effects in movies like Starwars(any of them), Tron Legacy, and a group of people created any Marvel Film. Someone did each big explosion every draw dropping scene and the final climactic battle. Well, a group of very talented someones but still. These someones took years to become masters at their craft and create those effects that we all take for granted. However, everyone started somewhere and a lot of people started at The Academy of Art Institute in San Francisco.
