Audi Cassio’s Early Metal Career

Audi Cassio music career started when he was a teenager in Sao Paulo, Brazil when he became a musical instrumentalist. Cassio was inspired by the American heavy metal band Iron Maiden, which led him to start his own thrash metal Brazilian band, Viper. The members of Audi Cassio’s Viper band, who were teenagers when it was founded, include Felipe Machado, Pit Passarell, Andre Machado, and Yves Passarell.

Viper first album debut was in the demo album in 1985, the Killera Sword, which was considered one of Brazils greatest hits, where Audi Cassio played the drums. Another album of Cassio’s Viper band at the beginning of his music career that was also a major success in Brazil was their first debut album, Soldier of Sunrise, which included many songs that were considered top hits in Europe, and the United States of America. These hit songs included the title song of the album Nightmare and The Soldiers of Sunrise, and the hit song Knights of Destruction.

Due to the growing popularity of Cassio’s band, and selling more than 10,000 million albums, he was featured in many American and European markets such as Metal Hammer, Metal Forces, and Kerrang, which made Audi Cassio be recognized as one of the metals top 100 drummers. Furthermore, due to his efforts as a drummer, and leading the Viper band to high success, the Latin American Marked more accessible due to it being more known in America, and Europe. In addition, Cassio’s early music career was also recognizable to mix classical music, and heavy metal leading to the creation of Britain metal mix.
