Boraie Development LLC Sets Investment-Eyes on Newark

Boraie Development LLC is a business based in New Brunswick, New Jersey that focuses on multiple services related to the urban real estate market industry, including property management, sales and marketing, and real estate development. They work only with top-notch financial institutions and have been setting the bar in real estate in the state of New Jersey for 3 decades.

As one of the most sought-after developers in the state, Boraie creates projects that attract people on all sides of the industry. With the help of their own capital and the use of private capital sources, they have upheld an upstanding track record for years. Boraie is a family affair that puts that passion behind their company. Developers Wasseem and Omar Boraie believe that private and public relationships can create big things when the private sector is held accountable. They hope for many more projects in the state of New Jersey that can be to the benefit of private investors and the general public. For more details visit Rutgers.

The business has done immensely well for itself; drawing-in more and more “big investors.” One such investor is Shaquille O’Neal, who helped the Boraie Development company develop Newark’s first residential high-rise in 5 decades. The completed project will include 169 rental units, spanning 21 stories and more than 200,000 square feet. The project can be referred to as both its official title as One Rector Street or the unofficial title of “Shaq Towers.” Check out Bloomberg to see more.

The Boraie company and Shaq were both in attendance at the ceremony that celebrated the new project, which should be completed by the end of 2018. And Boraie couldn’t take all the credit since their success came as the result of joint partnerships. Omar Boraie worked alongside the city, its officials, and citizens to gather support and funds. Shaq and his show-stopping investment pushed Boraie’s abilities over the edge and began a business relationship that isn’t ending anytime soon.

Boraie Development LLC is keeping the positive vibes going by announcing yet another project to be developed soon; alongside the one and only Shaquille O’Neal. Boraie plans on creating a 35-story building that will reside in the heart of Newark. This building will be mixed-use and could create another $150 million of investment back into the city. That project is in its infancy stages, but Boraie Development hopes to have the development completely underway by 2019.

How Boraie Development Partnered With The State Theatre To Advance The Arts

When people think of the state of New Jersey the words art or film might not necessarily be the first thing that comes to their minds. The state of New Jersey is known for many other things after all. Some of those things include its world class university Rutgers University which has produced famous alumni such as the Dominican American author and professor Junot Diaz who is famous for his book This Is How You Lose Her and for being awarded a MacArthur Genius prize. Most people probably associate filmmaking and art with the capitol of New Jersey’s neighboring state, New York City.

While New Jersey is home to one of the best institutions of higher education in the country it is also home to many cities and towns that have strong artistic traditions of their own. New Jersey’s creative roots go far back in history. For instance the State Theatre, a theatre that is based in Middlesex County, is actually a throwback to the early days of vaudeville in the 1920s. Nearly one hundred years later the State Theatre continues to be an incubator for artistic activities in its local community.

Like many other venues the State Theatre serves as a place where traveling performers such as ballet dancers, modern dancers, classical musicians and comedians can come and wow local audiences in New Jersey with their work. The State Theatre has hosted performers such as Brad Garrett, Brit Floyd, Regina Spektor and the National Acrobats and Artists of China. The State Theatre is more than just a setting for professional artists and performers, it is also a space that opens itself up to the community. In 2016 the theatre went back to screening a collection of six movies for the general public. In partnership with a local business that is known as Boraie Development, LLC the theatre was able to offer these movies to the public free of charge. This community event was expected to reach more than 7,000 members of the local community according to the website New Jersey Stage due to the financial assistance that Boraie Development LLC offered the theatre.
