Passion, Dedication & Excellence: Dr. Jennifer Lee Walden

Dr. Jennifer Lee Walden was born and raised in Austin, Texas. She is the daughter of two medical professionals. This is one of the most accomplished plastic surgeons in the business, and she has partaken in numerous amounts of training. Dr. Walden is also one of a handful of female doctors who serve on the Board of Directors for the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. At the medical industry’s Aesthetic Meeting of 2018, Dr. Walden was appointed as the new Secretary of the Society’s Executive Committee. This is a huge honor for the Austin-native, and she also serves as the ASAPS’s Commissioner of Communications. At this particular position, she was overseeing all of the communications-relative activities.

After graduating from Anderson High School, Walden would go on to attend the University of Texas. While at this particular higher-learning institute, she would earn a B.A. in Biology. After graduating with honors, Walden would attend the University of Texas Medical Branch. She had a lot of progressive things going on during this time, including being the president of the Texas Alpha Omega Honor Society. She would also get a chance to partake in an externship at the affluent Plastic Surgery Associates in Miami, Florida. Walden would eventually attain her medical doctorate while graduating as the salutatorian of her class.

Shortly after relocating to New York City, she would attain her fellowship from the Manhattan Eye, Ear & Throat Hospital. Big things were on the horizon for this young woman, but who knew that she would get as big as she did? After the birth of her twin boys, Rex and Houston, she would move back to Texas to start a new chapter in life. As of now, Dr. Jennifer Lee Walden owns a successful medical practice at Westlake Medical Center, and she is the winner of numerous industry-relative awards.
